Are You A Slave Or A Free Man?

“It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” . ~Matthew 4:4

The events of the time in which we are living are causing people to ask many questions about God’s plan for the human race.  Some of these questions are; what is a Christian?  With which group should I fellowship?  Is Christianity really the best “religion,” or way of life, as well as other such questions.  Many times, these questions arise because of a misunderstanding of some basic teaching of the Bible.  In this little booklet, a few issues of major importance will be discussed in brief, plus a few tips will be shared from God’s word on how to test to see if what you are considering as the guide for your life is truth or not.  For a more detailed discussion of these issues and others, you can log onto:

As is true with any important topic, truth has many facets.  Believing you have seen everything when you have looked at one facet of truth; is to miss the full beauty of that truth.

What is even worse is to castigate those who see a different facet of that truth.  Unfortunately, not many are able to see more than one or two facets of anything, which is one reason why there are so many arguments over religious issues.  Often those who know the least about the Bible are the most opinionated, for they feel that they know all that is important on the topic and have closed-up shop on the subject.

Note what God’s word says.

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.”
